Hi! Welcome to my class website! My name is Jinyann Padilla and I am a specialized varying exceptionalities teacher at Awesome Olsen Middle School. This is my first year at Olsen, but I am starting 17th year of teaching. Previously, I was an elementary teacher at Colbert Elementary Museum Magnet School. I began teaching after earning my bachelors degree in elementary education from Nova Southeastern University. In August of this year I will complete my masters degree in special education from Barry University.
This Puerto Rican teacher is originally from New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1999 to go to college. I have lived here ever since. My body has grown accustomed to the year round hot weather and beach proximity. 
I am a mom to a fur baby named Milo. He is the best fur baby in the world!
Teaching and children are my passion. I love what I do. I look forward to working with all of my students and parents to make sure it is the best year yet! I love you all!
